William Holman Gallery Breaks into LES Art Scene with Inaugural Exhibition, Nine Artists

Nine Artists
October 4-28, 2012

NEW YORK, October 2, 2012—William Holman Gallery is pleased to announce its opening exhibition entitled Nine Artists, a collection of recent work from Peter Bonner, John R. Cunningham, Michael J. Davis, Nicolette Jelen, Anthony Brownbill, Tom Judd, and Massimo Lippi, Sally Tittmann and Robert Seyffert. The Gallery opens its doors at 65 Ludlow Street (corner of Grand Street) and joins the Lower East Side art scene with a showcase of contemporary work including painting, drawing, sculpture, and a conceptual installation.

Nine Artists spans several artistic disciplines from both U.S. and international artists, to present a cross section of William Holman Gallery’s current portfolio. The nine artists selected to christen the gallery’s first season will each be highlighted in a solo exhibition following the inaugural group show over the next ten months. Intended to give a taste of each artist’s work and creativity, Nine Artists will present select works from each. Mediums include collage, glass etching, charcoal on canvas, wood sculpture, oil on canvas, oil on linen and an installation of bronze ceremonial staffs.
